Tek Adaptor Extension
The Tek Adapter extension allows your operators to access a modern UI with rich capabilities using your existing Narrow-band TekLogix solution.
N4 TEKLOGIX adaptor is written to make the interaction between ECN4Web and Narrowband Teklogix setup seamless. This is an adaptor that sits outside the ECN4Web framework and interacts with ECN4Web on one side and Teklogix controller on the other side which in turn are connected to Teklogix terminals over Narrowband.
The objective is to use the narrowband setup effectively:
- Communicate to the Teklogix devices using TESS
- Reduce the data content sent to narrowband devices
- Reduce the number of updates sent to devices over narrowband network
- Have push updates to the RDT’s if there is any change in the screens
- Talk to Teklogix in TESS
- Able to map the tek id (answer back id) to a single N4 Che ID
- Start the connection into Teklogix controller
Data Protector Extension
The Data Protector N4 Extension reduces the risk of non-compliance with government and/or union privacy regulations and associated work and penalties.
This N4 extension allows to encrypt and hide the N4 User information based on government regulations such a GDPR. Use it to:
- Anonymize user data stored in N4
- Access to user data
- Audit trail of who decrypted user data
- Groovy jobs to encrypt user data and to purge encrypted users
Rail Crane UI Extension
The Rail Crane UI extensions let your control room staff take action sooner by providing them with broad visibility on what your rail cranes are currently doing.
The Rail Crane UI extension provides a live graphical view of the rail operation to the RMG operator in his cab. It shows a satellite view of railcars, inventory, moves to be performed and the gantry/spreader position.
The UI updates as containers are moved in and out of the view by the crane. When integrated with the crane PLC, live updates will occur as the gantry or spreader is moved around and these movements will be recorded based on the spreader state.
Automated IMO Planning Extension
The Automated IMO Planning Extension can save you up to 60 minutes per mainliner on vessel planning when you have a lot of IMO containers to stow. While the time saved itself is valuable, the key benefit is: What a terminal can do with this time in terms of higher quality planning as well as replanning faster/more often upon change. Also, the risk of placing containers in the wrong way by mistake is reduced.
The IMO Planner exchanges data with XPS, to have all needed data available in the IMO planner. Planners can immediately spot problems, such as IMO projections with invalid position or vessel slot do not exist, IMO projections not matching load list, IMO containers not matching the projections, Containers without IMO details matching the IMO projections. Users can deep dive and see container listing and view projection details. Users can then automatically plan un-planned IMO containers. After completing the IMO planning, users can review the resulting plan, and once accepted, upload the plan back into XPS.
Terminal Truck Violation Report Extension
Knowing what your terminal truck drivers are doing can help you coach them and improve yard operations, especially when using PrimeRoute.
The Terminal Truck Violations Report gives you visibility to important data by showing a set of violations.
The following violations can be shown:
-
Truck driving to collect a dispatched container but unexpectedly another container was placed onto the truck.
-
Truck dispatched to collect a container but the job was completed without truck becoming to laden state.
-
Truck dispatched to collect a container but suddenly the truck becomes IDLE state (possibly reset handler).
-
Truck dispatch to collect a container but received another dispatch for a different container.
-
Truck received a job which belongs to another POOL
-
Truck received a job which belongs to another POW
Group Codes Rule Editor Extension
The Group Codes Rule Editor Extension allows for better yard operations by allowing operators to control decking decisions in situations where a terminal is handling many groups of cargo with small quantities.
The Group Code Rule editor allows an operator to update group codes in a simple way. Yard Planners can create rules based on criteria and assign a unique Group Code based on block size. This guides XPS Expert Decking strategies to deck the containers to the respective block by considering the Group Code of a unit.
The following data can be used to construct such rules: Outbound Carrier, Port of Discharge, Equipment Class, Equipment Status, Weight Range, Stow Code. Others can be added as needed.
