Frederik Stork, Sr. Director Optimization and Analytics Services, Navis

Frederik Stork is the Global Senior Director of Navis’ Optimization and Analytics Professional Services. Frederik’s responsibilities entail growing a team of consultants focused on increasing container terminal productivity through the implementation of Navis optimization solutions in conjunction with the improvement of associated business processes. Prior to joining Navis, Frederik was part of IBMs Software Services team in the US, where he held various consulting leadership roles. Before that, Frederik worked for ILOG, the leader in optimization software. While at ILOG, Frederik led consulting teams in the US and Germany with a focus on Supply Chain Optimization and Logistics. Frederik received a PhD in Operations Research from Berlin University of Technology.

Alvin Thottukadavil, Sr. Director Optimization Services, Navis

Alvin Thottukadavil is co-leading the management and development of the Optimization practice at Navis. He is the Sr. Director of Navis’ Global Optimization Services. Prior to joining Navis, Alvin worked with APM Terminals Salalah in the planning and operations department for 9 years. Before that he worked with Maersk India, handling vessel operations and with P & O Nedlloyd as a stowage coordinator. Alvin has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Mumbai.

Firos Rahim, Principal Consultant, Navis

Firos Rahim is a Principal Consultant at Navis working with the Optimisation Services team. He is focused on the implementation of Expert Decking, Prime Route, Autostow, and control room improvement work. Prior to joining Navis, Firos worked with DP World Jebel Ali in their Operations and IT department for 7 years, handling the TOS as well as operational optimisation projects. Firos has a master degree in Business Administration (Marketing and Operation) from the American University of Sharjah.
