OVERVIEW
OPC, an ICTSI terminal since 2013, is located in in the Republic of Honduras. OPC went live on Navis N4 in early 2014 to provide their customers with a modern platform that gives them the ability to interact with different departments. In addition, they use the system to send and receive critical information for port management using only an Internet connection which simplifies and minimizes transaction costs and time.
Today, overall productivity and efficiency of terminals is becoming more important in the global competition between the terminals. OPC is able to maximize productivity with optimized real-time planning, job scheduling, dispatching and demands for efficiency; the competitive market is demanding to terminals to become more optimized. In order to achieve our greatest expectations and be an impact on the market, OPC has chosen Navis N4 Terminal Operating System (TOS) to improve our operation and provide process automation solutions to convert Puerto Cortes in the most advance and automated Port in Central America.
