Navis™ Edge Manager Safe Seal is revolutionary in its container tracking approach.  Using an active, programmable Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag integrated with a tamper device, the Navis solution allows users to program shipment and container information into a container tracking tag then seal it. Navis Edge Manager Safe Seal supports the programming of the RFID container tracking tag with geospatial positional data for each read/write event then "interprets" the data providing physical locations from the geospatial data on the RFID container tracking tag.  The highly accurate data is uploaded through a mobile or fixed RFID reader network to Navis™ Edge Manager; Navis' industry leading middleware solution for data collection and process automation. Navis Edge Manager collects, filters, and transmits the stream of tag data to third party applications including terminal operating systems (TOS). Tracking container information and associated data is also available using a dedicated monitoring solution with tabular and GIS displays.
