Navis' biennial customer conference, Navis World 2012, took place October 7-10, 2012 at the beautiful Intercontinental San Francisco Hotel.

More than 400 participants from the marine container terminal industry worldwide gathered in San Francisco to enjoy the many networking events with the opportunity to learn by choosing from the 60 different sessions and workshops that were offered.  Industry leaders presented information on how marine terminal operators could optimize and improve their operations by presenting case studies and information on the latest technologies.

The conference was hightlighted by a thought provoking presentation delivered by Paul DePodesta of Money Ball Fame

Followed by  an evening of collaboration as attendees participated and competed in the Navis World 2012 Top chef Cooking competition.

We thank all those who attended and participated in this year's conference, helping to make it one of the most successful Navis World's yet.  We look forward to seeing you again at Navis World 2014 that will be held in September or October 2014.  Stay tuned as dates and location are confirmed.
