Chief Executive Officer
Anders Gustafsson became chief executive officer and a director of Zebra on September 4, 2007. Prior to joining Zebra Technologies, Mr. Gustafsson served as CEO of Spirent Communications plc, a publicly traded telecommunications company.
At Spirent, Mr. Gustafsson redirected that company’s growth strategy, divested non-core operations, integrated historic acquisitions and streamlined the organization to realize significant cost savings. Prior to Spirent, he was senior executive vice president, global business operations, of Tellabs, Inc. While at Tellabs, Mr. Gustafsson also served as president, Tellabs International, as well as president, global sales, and vice president and general manager, Europe, Middle East and Africa. Earlier in his career, he held executive positions with Motorola and Network Equipment Technologies. Mr. Gustafsson has an M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business and a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. He was a Fulbright Scholar and received numerous fellowships and scholarships for academic excellence.
Senior Vice President, Finance & Administration
Alan Cyron was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Axis Systems, Inc., a private provider of verification tools to the semiconductor industry. He was also Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of MobileAria, Inc., a pioneer in telematics products and services for the automotive and fleet industries. As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Paragon Trade Brands, Inc., a $600 million consumer product manufacturer, Cyron was responsible for managing the company's financial affairs, including operational finance, corporate planning, mergers and acquisitions, international joint ventures, investor relations, risk management, tax, treasury, and information technology.
Cyron earned an MBA in Finance from New York University and a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University.

Dave Wisherd founded WhereNet Corporation, formerly WiData, in 1997 and served as chairman of the board. For 14 years, Wisherd was Chairman and Chief Technology Officer of Silicon Valley's Spectrian Corporation where he oversaw the company's transition from military to commercial products. He began his career at Motorola Corp. and held engineering management positions at several other electronics firms.
Wisherd earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri, Rolla.

Co–Founder - Navis
Dr. Jon Shields co-founded Navis shortly after completing his PhD in1986. The inspiration for Navis can be traced to his master's thesis "A Computer-Aided Containership Stowage Planning System". In the course of growing the company, Dr. Shields has performed many different roles, but has always maintained a technical focus. He was the architect of the SPARCS development team for many years. In 2002, Dr. Shields began focusing on enhancing the Navis technology platform. This led to Navis' next generation terminal management system "SPARCS N4", for which Shields has been the principal architect.
Dr. Shields earned PhD, MS and BS degrees in Naval Architecture and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley.

Steve Park is an accomplished executive with global experience in high technology markets, including positions at Dell, Compaq and Intel. With more than 20 years of experience, Park has a proven track record of identifying new opportunities, developing business strategies, defining product portfolios and managing businesses to increase sales, market share and profitability. With more than 20 years of experience, Park is skilled at leading multi-million dollar businesses that encompass product development, marketing, operations, business development and sales.
Park earned a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from University of Houston.

Senior Vice President, Software Engineering
Roy Camblin brings 25 years of software experience. Camblin's background includes leading large internal and external IT projects and managing large-scale, mission-critical software development at various companies including Schwab (NYSE SCHW), Wells Fargo Bank (NYSE WFC), Netgateway, Inc., and Citicorp (NYSE C). Camblin was CIO at CB Richard Ellis, Inc. (NYSE CBG), Epiphany Inc., and Oracle Corporation (NYSE ORCL).
Camblin earned a BS in Marketing from Florida State University and an MS degree in Systems Management/Systems Technology from the University of Southern California.

Senior Vice President, Product Strategy
Lou Chauvin has more than 25 years of extensive experience in strategy, planning, development and operational management of systems and services. Prior to Zebra, he worked at Eastman Kodak Company for 12 years as a General Manager, Director of Publishing Services, Director of Engineering and a manager for several business units. Chauvin also served as a Director of the Mobile Technology Center at QMS and as an Engineering Manager at Prime Computer.
Chauvin earned his BS in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and MS in Computer Science from Boston University.

Senior Vice President, Services
Scott Peoples has an extensive background in building services and customer support organizations. Peoples served as Vice President in charge of the North American Solution Centers organization for PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft's Solution Centers reduced the cost and complexity of how software solutions are installed, implemented and upgraded. Previously, Peoples was a Vice President at Commerce One, where he led the Western Region Global Services organization and led several key initiatives to significantly improve customer satisfaction. In addition, Peoples successfully managed large software implementation projects and professional services organizations at American Management Systems and Radian International.
Peoples earned a BS in Engineering from California Polytechnic State University.

Senior Vice President, Maritime Sales
Richard Harrison was General Manager for Container Operations at Hutchison Ports UK Ltd. Hutchinson Ports is a member of the Hutchison Port Holdings, (HPH) group, the largest Global Container Terminal Operator and a subsidiary of the multinational conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa Limited (HWL).Harrison brings more than 20 years of container terminal knowledge and operational experience to Navis. In addition to having specific responsibility for the construction and operation of Port of Felixstowe and Thamesport, Harrison also brings deep experience with other cargo handling methods including break bulk, bulk, roll on roll off, oil chemicals, general cargo and intermodal Rail Freight.
Harrison started his career as a serving officer on board Merchant Vessels with CP Ships and gained various professional and management experience at sea and ashore.

Senior Vice President, Automotive Solutions Group
Tom Bacon was Vice President & General Manager of the Automotive Division for WhereNet Corporation, where he was responsible for sales, marketing and professional services for the automotive industry worldwide. Bacon was also with Ford Motor Company, where he held various positions at Ford's Advanced Manufacturing Technology Center and Materials Planning and Logistics Group.
Bacon earned a BS in Management Information Systems and Personnel from Central Michigan University.

Vice President, Marketing
Tara Ryan brings more than 18 years of experience in managing strategic, global marketing programs for technology companies. Ryan was Vice President of marketing at Ketera as well as Senior Vice President of Marketing at NetSuite, two software-as-a-service companies where she managed branding, pricing, strategy, demand generation and all marketing communications. She joined NetSuite from Deloitte Consulting, where she was a Director of Worldwide Marketing, successfully launching campaigns for companies such as SAP, Hewlett-Packard, IBM and Oracle. Ryan was Vice President of corporate marketing at Commerce One, Inc., and Vice President, Worldwide Marketing for Network Associates, where she managed worldwide branding and marketing efforts for multiple business units and McAfee.com's IPO. Ryan also managed international advertising efforts at Oracle Corporation.
Ryan earned a BA in History from the University of California at Los Angeles and an MA in Leadership from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.
